February, 9 2017
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, starry-eyed lovers are getting ready to celebrate by planning the perfect date.
Your special night could be as simple as watching a classic film and ordering Chinese take out, as romantic as skipping town for a weekend at the spa, or somewhere in between.
Need some ideas? We’ve got you covered. Here are 13 date night ideas for Valentine’s Day:
1. Dinner on a rooftop
Great food, great views and great company - What more do you need on Valentine’s Day?
2. Go on a bike ride…
When you two love birds get home from work, hop on your bikes and take a ride along your favorite path. It’s a great form of exercise and a way to do something different this Valentine’s Day! After all, couples who bike together, stay together.
3. ...then take a breather and have a picnic dinner
Once you’ve biked around for a bit, find a quiet area and enjoy a lovely picnic dinner together. There's just something so romantic about picnics!
4. Explore your city
Spend the afternoon exploring with your best friend! This is the perfect way to spend some quality time together in the city you love.
5. Hike through the woods
Get away from all the commotion this year and head to the woods! Bring a camera to capture the beauty, a water bottle to stay hydrated and a couple of nature bars to curb your hunger!
6. Watch the sunset on the beach
Head to the beach just before sundown for a romantic evening in one of the most peaceful environments. Bring a blanket for warmth, a lantern for when it gets dark and a bottle of champagne for a toast to your love!
7. Start a book series
Dedicate an entire day to reading your favorite book series or even consider starting a new one. Might we suggest starting your own mini book club? Such a great bonding activity!

9. Hang out in the park
Spend a quiet afternoon in a nearby park with your loved one. Between your busy schedules, workout classes and volunteering, this may be something you two don’t get to do very often!

Walking through a curated jungle full of fresh florals and cascading vines is the perfect way to spend the afternoon on Valentine’s Day! Wander around the conservatory for a couple of hours, then head to a delicious restaurant for dinner.
11. Take a stroll down the pier
If you live along the shore or close enough to drive, head down to the pier for a relaxing walk by the water. After your romantic walk, head to lunch or go out for some ice cream!
