5 Ways to Bring Fall Florals Into Your Wedding-Day Details
November, 3 2017
Each season has its own aesthetic - and flowers to go with it! As leaves change and temperatures drops, there are different ways to embrace the season. Our favorite? Fall wedding flowers, of course!
Here are five ways to bring fall florals into your wedding-day details:
1. Bridal Bouquet
Rich reds, bright oranges, and deep purples will bring an immediate sense of fall to your bridal bouquet. Incorporate some fall foliage for added texture, or opt for a variety of flowers in a cohesive color palette.
2. Wedding Party Flowers
If you chose a dark color for the bridesmaids dresses, consider having your girls hold a contrasting bouquet. We love when the bride carries a moody bouquet that pulls color from the bridesmaids dresses, while her gals hold a bouquet with wintery whites and a few pops of color. This way, you still get that “Wow” factor but the overall look is clean and cohesive.
The groomsmen can get in on the fun, too! Using fall flowers for handsome boutonnieres gives the groomsmen a look that feels fresh while still keeping things distinguished.
3. Ceremony Decor
Fall wedding decor will give your ceremony the feeling of an autumnal fairytale. Your guests will feel like they’ve been transported somewhere magical.
An arbor covered in vines and fall foliage can be a stunning backdrop for your vows. Seasonal flowers lining the aisle are another great way to set the scene (and up your wedding photography game!).
4. Reception Decor
Use fall foliage to add sumptuous texture to your centerpieces! Another way to bring vibrancy into your tablescape is by decorating with pumpkins, gourds and berries. Go the DIY route and make your own centerpieces! Fill glass jars with branches and berries for a budget-friendly way to invite fall to your wedding.
5. Wedding Cake
You don’t have to go wild and spend a fortune on intricate cake decorations to have a breathtaking wedding cake! Gorgeous greenery paired with red flowers are all you need to create the perfect fall wedding cake.
