A Sunny Fall Day With An Adorable Set Of Milwaukee Lovers!
October, 1 2021
We as humans are fascinated by love stories, and the simple phenomenon of two people falling hopelessly in love with each other never ceases to intrigue us. The signs of this can be seen in the Jane Austen love stories, the songs of even the loudest of rock band's work, the way love claimed lives, waged wars, and led to tragedies as well as the best of epics. We will be the first ones to tell you this! It's a good love story that claims our hearts before anything! It is a given, as we are in the business of love and have seen a million sets of eyes light up at the mention of their partners’ names. Believe us, it never gets old.
The time between the moment you propose (or get proposed to), and the time you get married is the most precious. The air is different and the way you feel, anticipating your wedding and planning hand and foot for it is a special kind of feeling altogether! While the wedding planning journey is one-of-a-kind and needs to be enjoyed to its fullest, it's always nice for a newly engaged couple to escape for a romantic engagement photoshoot! An engagement photo session is unquestionably the ideal way to hit the pause button and plunge yourself into the amazing feeling of being engaged. Every time a fresh-faced and love-filled couple walks in, they tug at our hearts in the most endearing way, and we want to do everything we can to ensure that they are captured in the best locations and in the best light. Rachel and Michael are one such couple who feel like the autumn sun and bring with them a special vibe that graces every capture that they pose for! This is the kind of engagement photoshoot that is simple, no-fuss yet intimate, and endearing! The woodsy forest vibe contrasting beautifully against the sunny day, the traces of fall in the air, and that smile which lights up their face as they look at each other, everything works in tandem to create some gorgeous captures! Let us take a closer look at this lovely couple’s special engagement photo session!
Rachel and Michael chose right, choosing the city of Milwaukee as their chosen backdrop for this romantic photoshoot! A big city reverberating with a distinct small-town feel, Milwaukee is the amalgamation of both worlds! Perched on the western shore of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee has quite the irresistible vibe which is easy to get on board with. The city of Milwaukee lies just 90 miles north of Chicago and is joined within the city area by two tributaries, the Menomonee and the Kinnickinnic. Milwaukee was also the setting of the hit 70s TV show, Happy Days and has quite a charm about it. With its heady mix of shimmering water bodies and towering cityscape, Milwaukee is to a photographer what a candy store is to a toddler. With amazing photo opportunities laid out for everyone, the city makes the ideal backdrop for any love story to unravel against! Accentuated with an extensive range of tourist attractions and must-see spots, Milwaukee guarantees fun experiences, and of course, astonishing pictures! Milwaukee is sprinkled with a string of breweries, adding to the city’s personality. Facing the Menomonee River, the infamous Harley-Davidson Museum is one of the city's star attractions, along with the Milwaukee Public Museum, Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, and Discovery World being some other vital tourist hotspots. With the rich history of the city, teamed with strong sportsmanship, and a gorgeous line-up of attractive tourist locations, Milwaukee is definitely a city worthy of exploration and awe! With so many aesthetic and picture-worthy spots to offer, our Milwaukee wedding photographer will be in for a treat! The result will be just as gorgeous as the lovely captures of Rachel and Michael
On the day of the engagement shoot, Rachel and Michael brought their A-game to the frames and looked phenomenal while at it! Rachel looked cool and casual in her black and white patterned dress, which was paired with a light wash denim jacket and a pair of white sneakers. Her brunette hair was left open in soft waves and a pair of dark-rimmed spectacles and a radiant smile dressed up her face. Michael matched the color tones picked by Rachel with his cream chinos, heathered grey long-sleeved T-shirt with buttons going a quarter down his neck. He shrugged on a sleeveless zip-up and a pair of grey shoes, which completed his look perfectly. About the nature-filled setting that the couple has chosen for their special engagement photoshoot, the location is seen to be filled with rolling manicured grass grounds, vibrant flowers, and woodsy corners to add some dramatic moody fall vibes. The couple brought with them a wooden plank that had their wedding date on it which we assume will make a phenomenal social media engagement announcement. The couple posed with the grey wooden signage for a couple of different poses. There was one where they were holding the signage as they kissed each other, and there was another one where the signage was placed popped up on a tree branch as they posed by it.
The Milwaukee engagement photographer as well as our lovely couple experimented with several different poses during the engagement photo session. We especially loved the one where Rachel was holding hands with Michael while showing off her engagement ring and the lush forest foliage in the background adding to the perfect ambiance. We also love the couple portraits where Rachel and Michael were sitting on the grass, as they shared personal jokes and laughed into the camera, and the verdant greenery in the backdrop played peekaboo and added vibrancy to the frame. It was a cute moment that was delicately captured by our Milwaukee engagement photographers. There are certain unmissable details that were captured by the photographers, like the time they held up the letter D, which happens to be the initial of Michael's surname, Davis, or the time they held hands as the signage rested on a bed of pine cones. The couple also posed by the shimmering lake which added to the pensive fall vibe of the setting. The location provided a lot to the couple and the photographers to work with whether it is in greenery or in the forest-like woodsy corner.
After the first session, the couple went in for a quick change and Rachel came back wearing a grey shirt with floral detail and a burgundy shrug to go over it and a matching pair of black leggings and she matched the vibe of the setting perfectly. Michael looked handsome as he swapped his grey shirt with a white heathered full sleeve instead. They ended the session in a celebratory note as they clinked their beer in celebration of the engagement and the future ahead. Overall this was a couple who did the engagement photo shoot in the best way possible- which is the real way. There are no extravagant props, no majestic gowns, and dramatic sunsets, but the people involved were warm like the sunshine and we were so in love, it showed in every capture! We hope Rachel and Michael had fun during this engagement session and took home nothing but beautiful photos and fond memories!
While the wedding day is "the day" of our life, that singular day you have been scoring down and hopping excitedly towards and have been scheming and plotting to get "just perfect" for a while now, the engagement is just as much of a significant date in the calendar, if not more! It is a day which even makes the wedding day possible and is a crucial step in the journey and should be honored on its own account. Sure a wedding day is spectacular, with a carefully curated color palette, a perfect theme, and a venue that fits your vibe and rituals and the emotional aspect of claiming and celebrating your eternal love in front of the whole society. However, it cannot be dismissed it is the engagement that drives the first step towards this decision and has a charm of its own. It is a day that is solely the couple's own, and rather than the focus being on the perfect look and the clashing sentiments and the celebration, it is on the quiet love and the pleasant companionship that the couple relishes.
An engagement photoshoot allows a glimpse at the couple's unique dispositions and what makes their love story their own, and how they communicate and demonstrate their love for each other. While it is normal to want to retain how your dress looked on the wedding day, how your veil swished after you, and how your hair looked as you swung to the tunes of your favorite song during your first dance, there are components that you will want to remember about your engagement too. It is possible the last time you will be snapped together as a couple before the wedding day, so you might want your engagement photographer to catch the treasured photos of how elated and excited and love-struck both of you are about being recently engaged and embarking on the amazing journey that is set out in front of you! Having the best engagement photographers to grab these delicate moments is a crucial narrative in your love story! You will want to hold on to the youthful enthusiasm of the first steps of your marriage journey infinitely so that you can look back on it later when you are much older.
The engagement photoshoot also permits the couple to relax for a bit and be their most authentic selves, and reveal their story just the way they want to be it, in a rustic setting or in the middle of a forest. In their favorite coffee shop or cozied up in their appointment! The choices are infinite, so it is important to plan the engagement shoot to be the most authentic to you both as a couple! If you are still contemplating getting your engagement pictures taken, we recommend you go ahead, because the tangible memories you get to keep forever are truly priceless! Also, it offers you the opportunity to get some captures for your social media engagement announcement! As for Rachel and Michael's wonderfully nature-filled and aesthetic engagement session, the engagement photographers of Milwaukee did an extraordinary job gripping onto the light and breezy yet memorable picture that the couple drafted, and exhibited them in some fun, woodsy fall shots quite stunningly!
It's remarkable how the most natural and regular concept like love hits with a fresh and overwhelmingly magical way every single time. We as humans will never stop being drawn by love, and the charm that it holds. Something is enchanting about two people coming together and exercising an oath for life. While every love story is gorgeous and unique, there are some which leave a lasting impression and have the brilliance of their own! Maybe it is their irresistible love for each other, the cheery disposition, or the unparalleled charm and artistic input they bring to the table when posing for their engagement photo shoot, but there is something about Rachel and Michael's engagement photo session which is memorable, like a tune you can't quite forget!
They made the perfect picture just by showing up, and the way their outfits were perfectly complementary yet relatable and the way they communicated with such ease is something that brings a lot to the frames. The easy laughter, the apparent adoration that shines in their eyes, and the effortless intimacy they display make them quite a joy to work with. We are enthralled by the soft dreamy natural vibe that the couple factors, which work well with the engagement photographer, assisting them to create epic captures one after another! We also love the minute details, like the lovely weather, the pine cones and the woodsy natural backdrop, the buttery sunshine, and the refreshing fall vibes, all of which work together to devise remarkable photographs. The skillful hands of our professional Milwaukee engagement photographers worked spectacularly to capture the magic beautifully into lovely captures! Overall, this engagement photo session turned out quite beautiful and as the couple walks away from this fun engagement session towards their wedding day, we wish them nothing but unending love and luck!
