Robert and Brandi chose to tie the knot in the beautiful city of Detroit, and there is no surprise as to why! This Michigan city offers an abundance of options when it comes to photo opportunities and visual aesthetics for the same. Set in the northwest bank of the Detroit River and on Lake St. Clair, between Lakes Huron and Erie, lies Denver, a gorgeous city that is full of enthusiasm and energy. Downtown Detroit is located just by the corner of the water and is crammed with fun and action. From fun restaurants to charming neighborhoods, the city is indefatigable in terms of possibilities. Robert and Brandi chose some of the most amazing venues to feature on their wedding day. They chose the gorgeous CrossPoint Church for their wedding ceremony, while the Sycamore Hills Golf Club proved to be the perfect spot for their wedding reception. Cross Point Church in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, is a charming church for their first step into married life. Featuring neutral backdrops and a minimalistic vibe, the church proved to be the perfect spot for the duo to exchange their vows. The Sycamore Hills Golf Club, located in Macomb, Michigan is a resort-style country club wedding venue located among the panoramic views of the golf course, lush gardens, and romantic water features. Located just a 30 min distance from Detroit, Michigan, Sycamore Hills Golf Club is well accessible and a sophisticated place for Robert and Brandi’s dream wedding to come alive! Featuring a 27-hole championship golf course and equipped with banquet rooms seating up to 350 people and a serene and relaxing atmosphere to go with it all, this wedding venue assures a couple in love that their wedding day will be memorable and just perfect! Both of these stunning locations did their part to provide our lovely couple with the most stunning backdrop to weave into their special day.

On the day of the wedding, the couple donned their carefully selected ensembles to get dressed for the lovely day ahead! Brandi and her bridesmaids shared a moment as they got ready for the ceremony ahead. Brandi, our bride, wore a white robe, while her girls donned pale pink robes, and were pictured by our Detroit wedding photographer in a memorable frame. Brandi soon got her hair and makeup done and slipped into her gorgeous wedding dress. Her hair was arranged in a bridal updo, with ringlets of curls framing her face, and her makeup was light and radiant. Her bridal gown was a stunning long-sleeved off-shoulder A-line dress with intricate lacework and embroideries, creating a piece of art in a dress. Her dress had a long fairytale-esque train which is mirrored by her cascading cathedral veil. Brandi’s bridesmaids wore the most stunning bridesmaids' dresses in pale blue, and the adorable flower girl was dressed in a white lace dress which reflected the bride's own! Gorgeous white bridal bouquets completed the bridal party’s look with a delicate flair. Robert was by no means far behind with his groom's look, and managed to look just as amazing as Brandi. His bright blue suit sure attracted all eyes and made a bold statement, and crisp white shirt, white necktie, and a white pocket square balanced the look and a gorgeous white boutonniere along with a pair of brown formal shoes completed his look beautifully! 

After the couple got ready, they both posed for some group photography with their family and friends and headed towards their ceremony venue for their lovely wedding ceremony. The church was decorated minimally and the wooden ceremony arch was done up with white drapes and foliage. Soon, Brandi walked down the aisle and met her partner at the arbor, where they lit a single candle, exchanged their vows, and their first kiss as husband and wife. After the ceremony, the couple posed in the ceremony venue with their friends and family and also as a couple, enabling the Detroit wedding photographer to capture this moment forever. After several group photography sessions, bridal portraits, and groom portraits, the couple exited the ceremony site and headed to the reception venue where they posed outdoors for some gorgeous couple portraits. Brandi donned a fur shrug to keep herself warm, as they posed in the wintery landscape outdoors. The reception venue was decorated elegantly with touches of white, gold and green, and made for the perfect winter wedding decor! The couple had their first dance here, followed by their cake-cutting ceremony. There were several sweet moments like the daddy-daughter dance and the stolen kiss of the newly married as they were seated at the sweetheart table.
