Alyson & Jason’s Intimate Courthouse Wedding, San Diego

Alyson and Joseph kept things simple in San Diego by taking their vows to the courthouse. The couple kept everything pared down and casual while still incorporating elements of a traditional wedding. Yes - You can have your cake and eat it, too!
Alyson’s lovely dress made a statement with a beaded bodice and flowing skirt. The dress was a comfortable choice that still packed lots of style. She topped off her glam look with a sparkly headband.
The couple selected a small circle of friends to stand up with them, giving them the experience of a bridal party with less of the stress. Joseph’s three groomsmen rocked navy suits in different shades. Alyson’s two bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses - one in navy and one in green. The mix and match bridal party attire allowed them to have a cohesive look that still kept with the low-key, casual glam of the celebrations.
And what about a little rain on your wedding day? Worry not because your wedding photographer won’t let that get in the way! Instead, they will find a creative way to make the best of it - just like Alyson and Joseph’s photographer did. Their photographer posed them against a gorgeous backdrop with clear umbrellas - swoon!
The newlyweds then celebrated with close friends and family in a private dining room at a restaurant. They kept with tradition and had a gorgeous wedding cake with a sparkly topper and a trendy chalkboard seating chart.
