An Elegant Golden Hour Wedding With a Gorgeous, Casual Vibe
April, 27 2016
Shellie and Mike had a beautiful outdoor wedding on September 6, 2015 with glowing sunset photos and a casual vibe.
Shellie opted for a gorgeous “flower” crown of delicate greens. This earthy look can take the place of the traditional veil if desired!
Who says the bridesmaids’ dresses have to match? Consider choosing mismatched bridesmaids gowns with a similar color, style or theme instead of having all of them match exactly! Shellie’s bridal party looks stunning in all black bridesmaids dresses in differing cuts.
The groom and groomsmen looked sleek in navy suits with black accents, which photographed well in the afternoon and early evening light.
First look! Their Lily & Lime wedding photographer was able to use the interiors of the Cheney Mansion to add detail and dramatic flair to their first look photos.
Shellie and Mike’s wedding photographer used the late day sun to their advantage, capturing some truly breathtaking shots of the couple in this “golden hour” light! Gorgeous!
We love the simple design they used for their table cards and seating chart––the gold frame and chalkboard make an easy DIY project too! Even the dessert table incorporated their chosen wedding colors of black, ivory, and natural greens with gold accents. The desserts themselves left us drooling with macarons, chocolate tarts, almond croissants, key lime tarts, and that gold cutting cake!
Congratulations Shellie and Mike!
