Just some more steps to be taken, and voila! You will be spending the rest of your life with your other half. Once the bigger decisions are made and the time strikes, the decision o' clock. Orchestrating such a big event can be definitely nerve-racking, especially the big decisions while planning your wedding like picking out your wedding dress or choosing your wedding venue, which can bring in every little dream that you have carefully tucked in your wedding checklist. Remember the time you listened to Taylor Swift's ‘Love Story’ and daydreamt about how your soulmate is going to go down on his knee in the middle of a countryside setting and ask you to marry him? The clocks turned, the calendars flipped and here you are, discussing your wedding with your soulmate while staring at the big rock shining on your ring finger and giggling like a teenage girl. We don't blame you!
Choosing a wedding venue is one of the most vital decisions that you are going to make as part of your wedding checklist. Flipping through the bridal magazines and blogs can at times leave you with more questions than answers. For a couple who are fans of rustic touches like muted florals, string lights, and antique furniture, finding romance and telling their love story to the world can never find a better setting than a chic industrial wedding venue.
Just like a flower that not only survived the rain but used it to grow and rejuvenate, industrial wedding venues in the US are the new cool and it's definitely here to stay. Bringing romance to the table along with modern chic vibes, vintage and rustic elements of the industrial wedding venue trend is giving a different edge to the entire wedding industry. Amidst sweet laughter between the bride and groom, and everyone surrounding them, the infusion of urban and luxe wedding elements blending against exposed brick walls, peeling paints, and cement floors bring out never-before-seen textures and characters to professional wedding photography sessions.
The intriguing elements of renovated spaces that are stored in each corner of once-abandoned buildings like converted lofts, revamped warehouses, and former factories can bring in gritty and glamorous throwback for your wedding photography session. Maybe this is the reason why our New York bride Bionca had her heart set on finding the best industrial themed wedding venue in New York to celebrate her biggest day amidst contemporary wedding decor with a dash of stylish urban elements.
In the spring of 2019, somewhere over the spectrum of the rainbow, we were introduced to the stunning New York couple Bionca and Travis and got the amazing opportunity to document their wedding day. It was set in the trendy and classic industrial themed wedding venue known as The Loft by Bridgeview, located at Island Park in New York. The moment we visited this classic New York wedding venue we understood how the sleek and unrefined structures that look like a throwback to the industrial revolution era spoke directly to Bionca, to host a glamorous wedding day in New York.
The Loft by Bridgeview wedding venue in Barnum Island, New York offers a quintessential character to weddings with its unmatched vintage charm embodying the essence of industrial chic. We were swooned by Bianca's choice of the wedding venue and couldn't stop but applaud her pick. The elegant and eclectic decor in the unique and intimate wedding event spaces with open waterfront views gave our New York wedding photographers some spectacular moments to capture in their shutters. Reclaimed barn wood, exposed brick walls, opulent crystal chandeliers, artistically elegant lightings, and rustic elements present throughout the wedding spaces made this wedding venue in New York truly one of its kind.
The crystal clear acrylic and lucite elements sprinkled throughout the wedding venue twinkled like jewels in the New York wedding photography session. The spacious floor plans and flexible wedding event spaces perfectly fitted the unforgettable wedding of Bionca and Travis. The premiere New York wedding venue featured excellent rustic accents starting from the exposed wooden beams, antique bronze chandeliers evoking a dim warm light, to light golden chairs with creamy linens. Our stunning bride donned a crisp white princess bridal gown made out of chantilly lace and floaty fabric with v-necklines, both at the front and gliding down at the back. The gorgeous wedding dress hugged her in the right places, as she teamed it with a cathedral veil, a Biedermeier bridal bouquet with white roses and minimalistic jewelry- trinket pendant and drop earrings. The side-parted hair was tied into a messy bun with wisps of hair adorning her cheeks and the light day makeup accented her impressive features.
Our dashing groom Travis orchestrated the perfect theme of this wedding day, wearing a powder gray two-piece suit, teamed with a crisp white shirt, dusty pink satin bow and pocket square, and brown oxford shoes. The couple portraits of this impressive and stylish couple looked straight from a runway magazine, as they were joined by the groomsmen and the bridesmaids, who choreographed the wedding theme as well. The groomsmen flashed their navy blue suits with brown derby shoes, royal blue satin bows, and white shirts; and the bridesmaids wore long bronze plated sequin maxi dresses teamed with similar bridal bouquets.
It was a sunny spring day in New York when we witnessed the absolutely spectacular wedding of Bionca and Travis at The Loft by Bridgeview. Before the wedding ceremony commenced, our bride went to the sunlit grounds of the wedding venue with her bridesmaids, and our talented team of wedding photographers stole this iconic moment to click some amazing portraits at the bridesmaid group photography session. The sun shone brightly on the bride’s gang, with Bionca in the middle, making them glaze like a dream in the wedding photographs!
Our professional wedding photographers in New York snapped the groom-gang as well, as they posed in front of the wedding ceremony site. The beautiful candid couple portraits of the wedding ceremony elated us with a fuzzy feeling. Right from the portrait where Bionca looked at Travis with heartwarming eyes, and she couldn't hide her thankfulness for having this guy in her life as it gleamed in her emotional eyes to the way Travis embraced his bride while kissing her, everything looked straight from postcards.
The thoughtful wedding decor created the right amount of magic as the backdrop for the New York wedding photography session. Whether it was the wedding invitations placed on a table in front of the exposed brick walls or the stunning couple portraits after the wedding ceremony was over, pictured against the vintage old walls and beneath the opulent crystal chandeliers. The intricate details of the wedding ceremony depicted the immaculate and flawless wedding planning of this fabulous couple.
