Caitlyn and Andrew’s Breezy Colorado Engagement Session

Outdoor engagement shoots can be great any time of year, however, summer and spring are when you can maximize the potential of a natural setting!
Take a cue from Caitlyn and Andrew who had their engagement photographer use Belmar Park as a backdrop for their scenic shoot. The couple used the rustic, Colorado terrain to create multiple fusion looks, and the results are phenomenal!
Caitlyn and Andrew’s shoot featured grainy fields and rustic terrains. The golden hues of the long grass fields provided a picture-perfect contrast against Caitlyn’s navy blue dress. And the couple chose Kountze Lake to shoot multiple looks near the serene waters. You can never go wrong with golden hour, we give serene views and sunset shots a solid recommendation!
The pair's outdoor engagement session also featured a picturesque skyline and azure clouds that blended naturally with the surrounding architecture. Andrew and Caitlyn chose to have modern and classic elements in their shoot which were both whimsical and creative. The Lakewood Heritage Center lent a vintage aesthetic in their shoot. They made a stop near Ethel’s beauty salon, a quirky 50's inspired shop with gleaming, silver aluminum windows and bright yellow signs that were a vintage dream. The couple was also featured near a large, cornice-mounted clock which brought character and charm to the natural engagement session.
