Commemorating momentous occasions of life like an engagement with a romantic photoshoot is a great way to tell your story to the world. Not like the countless run-of-the-mill or cheesy couple shots, but a real and powerful story deserves an inspirational engagement photoshoot in a striking and storytelling style. Your inspirational engagement photography session should be filled with unique and extraordinary moments that stand true only to your love story. From the detailed shots to the candid silhouette golden hour portraits, make sure your photos from your engagement photography session leave you with a perfect one-of-a-kind experience.
There are so many engagement photography ideas that you can bring in for your photography session that can be inspiring and exciting for creating a memorable engagement photo album. For example, as your engagement photography spot, you can choose your go-to coffee shop or even the place you first met. You can also plan a trip together and travel to your dream vacation spot, and find a local professional photographer who can bring in the best of the city's skyline or mountainside backdrops for your engagement photography shoot. Your engagement photographer should ideally be able to guide you through the most photogenic corners of a particular location so that the backgrounds are enlivened in the couple portraits, making the experience seamless as well as exciting.
Although natural photography shots are the best, the best way to get clicked for candid shots is to only pretend that the photographer is not looking at you. You can throw in props that can add meaning and something that both of you hold common to your relationship. For example, if reading books is your thing or surfing in the wild waters, or Netflix and chilling is your favorite Sunday activity, bring in these things to add more meaning to your professional photography session as a couple.
Time and again we come across couples that have said 'yes' to the love of their life, that takes us beyond the ordinary and gives us inspiration for creating something extraordinary in engagement portrait sessions. Whatever that is, whether it is a staged photoshoot, or a simple over-the-top engagement photography session, there are some traditional engagement portraits that never go out of style and remain classic for generations. It is the only chance we will get to display your unique style and chemistry as a couple with a variety of backdrops, poses, and styles, and who knows who might get inspired for their next photography session?
