Celebrating Love in Los Angeles with Lucy and Matthew

Lucy and Matthew exchanged their vows at the SmogShoppe, one of the most sustainably designed urban spaces in both Los Angeles and the United States. The venue is known for its desert plants, vertical gardens and chic vintage furnishings - all of which were captured in full by the couple’s Lily & Lime wedding photographer.
Pantone’s greenery was an underlying theme and made an appearance by way of perfectly placed succulents! Lucy and Matthew featured them in their wedding decor by adding them to their wedding flowers, the backdrop for photos and even the centerpieces for the tables!
Lucy went for a classic wedding style, highlighted by a beautiful deep purple color scheme, which made her unique wedding dress pop! The dress itself offered endless amounts of lace and a high neckline, creating an incredibly chic look. Lucy opted for a sleek updo for the ceremony, but she let her locks loose for the party!
The bridal party wore mismatched dresses, which really allowed their personal style to shine through!
As for Matthew and his groomsmen, they donned the most eye-catching boutonnieres, and Matthew’s pocket square fit right along with the color scheme as well! Purple never looked so good.
The wedding cake was a real standout, and the gold trim and flowers adorning the three tiered cake made it almost too pretty to eat - almost!
Lucy and Matthew’s big day has us dreaming of springtime greens and the happy memories surrounding them.
