Clarissa and Dalton’s Whimsical Wedding, Nashville
July, 12 2018

Clarissa and Dalton had a whimsical, rustic wedding at Tomlinson Family Farm in Lebanon, TN. Their memorable fête was full of wedding and bridal inspiration.
Clarissa started the day by prepping for her “I do’s” in style. Her cowboy boots and bridal gown hung outside for a few detail photos to document the look of the day. Her bridesmaids helped her get ready while donning floral robes in a similar shade to her cowboy boots. It was a sophisticated, romantic way to bring some cohesive color to the getting ready wedding photos, and it really made Clarissa’s white robe pop.
Dressed and ready, Clarissa looked sensational in an off-the-shoulder gown. The gown featured lace detailing and a fitted silhouette. She paired the understated look with an opulent bouquet of flowers in light blue, pink, ivory, and greenery. Her teal cowboy boots were a way to incorporate both fashion and function into her footwear. They added a bright, fun touch while making sure the bride stayed comfortable all day in the outdoor setting. Her bridal hair might have been one of our favorite looks from that day. Her loose, bohemian braid as adorned with a crown of roses and baby’s breath, tucking into the twists and plaits down the braid.
Her bridesmaids looked darling in a pale blue that fittingly matched Clarissa’s well-manicured nails. We loved that her closest girls got to act as her “something blue.” The bridesmaids’ looks were accented with fluffy bouquets of baby’s breath, which is a great way to get a big effect with bridal party bouquets without breaking the bank.
Who could forget the groom? Dalton looked dashing in a blue tux, white shirt, and a tie. His groomsmen wore grey suits of a similar cut. We love the way that this maintained a uniform look, but it let the groom stand out and have his moment.
Their rustic, outdoor ceremony was a dream. A wooden arch with breezy lace shaded their “I do’s.” They marked the aisle chairs with burlap bows, and the outdoor setting brought plenty of natural splendor to the occasion. After the ceremony, the couple posed for their portraits outside to stunning effect. They looked mesmerizing, and the light was perfect, especially as the sun set on the open field.
The couple’s reception space was equally incredible. They included more gorgeous florals, wooden accents, and a rustic naked cake with sweets on the table. Their reception space was just as rustic as the rest of the festivities, with string lights and draped sheers giving a hazy, dreamy ambiance for dancing and continued celebrations.
