Dashing Fall Wedding Attire for Men
November, 17 2017
With brisk air and changing leaves, fall weddings can be pure perfection. We’ve covered the different ways you can embrace fall inspiration in your engagement photos, wedding decorations, and wedding colors. Today, we’re dedicating a post to some of our favorite, truly dashing ways to approach menswear for your fall wedding.
Navy and Black Suits
Dark colored suits will always be classic, especially when it comes to fall and winter weddings. They match the feel of the season and look sumptuous when paired with darker colored ties. Plus, you know that navy and black will always look smashing in your wedding photography.
Opt for Something Light
Khaki isn’t just for summer weddings. A nice tan suit can be a playful option for the groom and groomsmen. It’s a nice alternative if you’re looking for something that feels fresh, and it pairs especially well with autumn wedding colors like yellow, orange, and burgundy.
Shades of Grey
Looking for the perfect fall groom attire to pair with purple? Grey suiting complements a vibrant violet so well. It’s a nice way to toe that line between something classic and fashion-forward.
Mix It Up
For more casual weddings, the groom can don a sport jacket or blazer for a handsome yet informal look. In the same way that brides are embracing mismatched bridesmaid dresses, we love to see it when the groom’s party mixes it up. You can put your groomsmen in vests and ties rather that suits or jackets. That way they look sharp but different from the groom, allowing him to shine.
Finishing Touches
Bring in your fall wedding color palette with men’s wedding accessories. You can add a pop of color with socks, ties, and bow ties. It adds an interesting element to their look and unique options make for great photo ops during groom prep.
Of course, we can’t forget the boutonnieres! Boutonnieres in rich, fall colors are a great way to tie in the bridal flowers, and they add a splash to the groom and groomsmen’s distinguished attire. For an added touch, you can incorporate some fall-inspired texture for that extra flourish!
