Love is one of the most awe-inspiring emotions and without love, this planet will be a pretty dull place. Whether you believe in soulmates or just plain luck, it's pretty amazing to think that two people fall in love with each other and leave behind a bustling family, evergreen stories, family recipes, and vacation photographs. But it all starts with a stolen glance, a warm smile, or the charming way a stranger held the door open for you. After that nervous first date, follows a string of more equally amazing dates, and soon enough, you know you are in love. And on one star-aligned day, your loved one will ask you that question that you have already been contemplating over, and you say “Yes” before he finishes asking the question because you have never been more sure about anything. And thus begins your own movie-style love story!
Getting engaged is just the first step of the whirlwind that weddings entail. It is followed closely by the exciting journey of wedding planning. There are a hundred white dresses to try, cakes to taste, and tiny decisions to make. And while that might sound a tad overbearing, it is in fact very exciting! When else will you get to prepare for a day which surrounds just you and your partner, and plan out the details of the biggest party of your life? While the planning and the excitement are all amazing, it's the emotions attached to the day which make it so larger than life. Every couple deserves to have their own fairytale, and we are grateful to work in a field that allows us to see real-life fairy tales on a frequent basis. There is no greater joy than the well-known emotion of a blushing bride finding her eternal sweetheart and promising to hold on forever in front of her loved ones. The spring wedding of Jennifer and Brandon is one such memorable wedding that makes us grateful for what we do! The gorgeous backdrops basked in greenery, the romantic flowers, and the sunshine smile create a day that is unforgettable! Let us take a stroll through the couple’s gorgeous Austin spring wedding!
Jennifer and Brandon chose Austin as their wedding day city. Maybe it's the warm southern hospitality or the lively atmosphere the city exudes, but Austin offers a variety of beautiful settings for photographing your wedding. It is a city blessed with limitless sunlight, and it should come as no surprise that Austin is a major destination for weddings and engagement sessions. It is gorgeous with the most magnificent views scattered across the city. The state's capital, located where the Colorado River splits from the Edwards Plateau, is home to a number of picturesque locations. This Texas landmark, which dates back to 1839, is a favorite of our Austin wedding photographers. Even though it is one of the fastest-growing cities in North America, there is still enough room to enjoy the city's rich history and natural surroundings. The State Capitol and its 22 acres of grounds, which are also preserved as a National Historic Landmark, are a good place to explore. The Great Walk, which is bordered by trees and is home to various historical monuments in Austin, encircles this 308-foot-tall facade. Zilker Park is a separate spot that our Austin wedding photographers adore for capturing couples in love. This 351-acre park, which is located next to Lady Bird Lake in Austin, is a well-liked recreational area and a well-known green space. This lush sanctuary, one of Austin's most attractive spots, is perfect for afternoon strolls and golden-hour photography shoots. A 416-acre water reservoir with a view of the Austin skyline, the immaculate Lady Bird Lake is another great recreational destination in Austin. It is surrounded by luxury residences and hotels, as well as places to rent kayaks and canoes to enjoy Austin's beautiful sunsets. Visit the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge at sunset for a beautiful glimpse of the Mexican free-tailed bats' nightly flight which is one of the most unusual things to do in Austin.
The University of Texas in Austin is one of the most artistically designed campuses in the US and is home to one of the largest permanent collections of American, Latin American, and European art. The complex includes the Texas Memorial Museum, which showcases the state's natural and cultural history. Visit the Barton Springs Pool to take in Austin's plethora of natural beauty and experience this spring pool's up-to-18-foot depth, grassy tree-lined border, and flawless emerald-colored water. The renowned Bullock Texas State History Museum, which houses artifacts and displays highlighting significant moments in the state's history, is a great place for couples who enjoy taking leisurely strolls amid historic treasures. Another popular tourist destination in Austin is the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum, a library, and museum that is open every day of the week and offers a romantic setting for romantic portraits.
In addition to all the tourist attractions, Austin offers a wide variety of wonderful, outstanding wedding locations. Austin is the ideal location to have a wedding or reception because of its thriving culture and selection of unique private event spaces. Breweries and vineyards with breathtaking Hill Country views, historic mansions and gardens scattered around the city, and even downtown music venues where you can get married like a rock star are among the locations available. Choose a pop-up wedding in a revered church or make the most of our warm, sunny weather with an unforgettable outdoor ceremony. Just one look at Jennifer and Brandon’s wedding day is enough reason for you to choose Austin as the backdrop for your special day.
While there are many beautiful venues to consider, our couple chose McKinney Falls State Park as their wedding venue. With over 80 campsites, including constructed RV and hike-in sites, McKinney Falls is a 641-acre park with group shelters, screened shelters, and a group dining hall. Hiking, mountain riding, bicycling, swimming, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing are all examples of outdoor recreational activities. The 1.7-mile-long Onion Creek runs through the park and provides chances for swimming and fishing. The Mckinney Falls State Park is a beautiful place to get away from it all and unwind. Our Austin wedding photographers appreciate the numerous photo opportunities this park offers as an Austin wedding photographer. You'll adore Onion Creek's natural splendor, which flows through and forms the falls and lovely pools. This is also a great location for Austin engagement photos because of the stunning hiking trails.
The distance between Mckinney Falls State Park and downtown Austin is only 20 minutes, making it quite accessible. Despite being the most popular park around, it yet manages to keep the required level of solitude. Our wedding photographers from Austin had plenty of options to take advantage of the stones, the water, and the trees for this photo session. The tranquil environment and lovely team worked together to produce the magic you see here. Overall, this was a lovely setting to get married in, and the photos are enough to prove the point!
One sunny April morning, on a date already marked red in the calendar, our gorgeous couple Jennifer and Brandon got ready in their wedding venue in anticipation of their dream wedding. They got ready in their best attires and looked absolutely dreamy. Jennifer wore a stunning off-shoulder trumpet-cut cream dress with a cascading train which made her look like a movie star. The simple no-fuss dress paired with its luxurious silhouette worked really well for our bride and the overall look was stunning. Her wavy hair was arranged in a romantic updo with tendrils of curls framing her face. A delicate sparkly headwear placed at the crown of her head gives her bridal look a whimsical twist. A pair of dangly earrings and a stunning romantic rose bridal bouquet complete her look. Her makeup is soft and glowy, and her smile is warm and radiant. Overall, Jennifer looked timeless yet whimsical on her special day which suited her personality beautifully. Brandon looked equally charming in his groom's attire. He wore a black suit with a crisp white shirt and a powder blue necktie. A single peach rose perched on his lapel proved to be the perfect boutonniere, and a pair of black formal shoes completed his look.
After the couple got ready, they met each other in the gorgeous outdoor location of the venue. The ceremony backdrop was adorned with white drapery and greenery, along with some colorful floral elements. Jennifer’s dad walked her down the aisle and her sweetheart waited for her under the arch. After saying the vows, exchanging the rings, and sealing the deal with a kiss, Jennifer and Brandon were declared married. After the ceremony, the couple posed against the lush greenery and woodsy backdrop for some gorgeous shots. Our Austin wedding photographer seized this moment to capture the couple in some ethereal shots and also captured some gorgeous group photography. After those shots, the couple explored a bit more of the property and posed by the beautiful creek for some frame-worthy shots. The lush greenery, the rocky terrain, and the beautiful waterbody all came tougher to create some winning captures. After the pictures by the water were done, the couple explored more and reached a stunning meadow with tiny purple flowers and it was the perfect setting for some gorgeous couple portraits. The wedding photographer also took the opportunity to get some solo portraits captured of both the groom and the bride. The result was phenomenal, to say the least.
After the photo session, the couple went back to celebrate the wedding reception with their guests. They then cut their adorable two-tier wedding cake which was adored by flowers. The memorable moments of the day like the cake-cutting ceremony and the wedding exit were beautifully captured by professional photographers. The photographer also captured some of the wedding details like the rings and the wedding cake in beautiful frames. The couple left amidst a beautiful send-off with streamers held up by their wedding guests, as they left for their lovely future together.
