Gabriella and Caleb Walk Into a Picture Perfect Moment, Washington DC
January, 16 2019
Gabriella and Caleb's DC engagement session has us yearning for spring. The couple headed to Georgetown, near the Potomac River for their photo shoot.
The couple strolled along the Potomac for a variety of different pictures and feels. The reflection of the river in the photos near the fence and in front of the bridge feature reflections of the surrounding, proving that the city is twice as nice when you get to see it doubled.
Caleb proved just how showstopping a classic combo can be. He paired dark jeans with a crisp white button down and a tailored grey blazer. The look complemented Gabriella's off-the-shoulder polka dot dress. Instead of doing a full outfit change, Gabriella topped off the ensemble with a persimmon coat. The splash of red brought some cheery energy to their photos. Using a coat to give yourself an "outfit change" effect without having to do a full change is a great approach, especially in between seasons.
Their Washington DC engagement photographer got a great shot of the ring in an unusual way. The photo is framed with the couple dancing, their faces blurred in the background with the focus on their clasped hands in the foreground. We love the unexpected way the photo is framed and the hint at the wedding's first dance (to come).
