Glam and Green Collide on Rachel and Grant’s Day, Austin

That’s exactly how our hearts sang when we witnessed this jewel of a wedding! Rachel and Grant had a stunning wedding at the Vintage Villas Hotel & Events in Austin. Everything about this wedding was so refreshing that we can’t get enough of it! March’s warm vibes were enough to hold everyone in a cozy hug, relishing every second of this special day.
The glorious day began with the ravishing bride posing for stunning photos. We simply loved her wedding look. Rachel looked like an angel in a white strappy bridal gown with a train. Blingy silver stilettos and a pearl necklace completed her bridal look. The moment we saw her bridal bouquet, we knew that it was going to be a glorious wedding! Her bouquet was a cool breeze of greens and white, perfect for the occasion. There is something about white and weddings that creates unmatched magic.
We strongly believe that there is so much more to wedding details than what just meets the eye. Every little detail has a story behind it. Many have unmatched efforts to set them there. All have some special thought or the other. All the wedding details primarily say a lot about the couple. It’s how they have envisioned their wedding!

The bridal suite of the venue was a perfect place to get some stunning portraits of Rachel. A life-sized mirror made for an unbelievably gorgeous backdrop! The ceremony site was set impeccably with neat white chairs, perfectly contrasting the green lawns.
As Rachel walked towards the aisle with her father, she looked content and joyous! Her father looked handsome in a dark gray suit. A green boutonniere and tie completed his look. We adored the content expression on Rachel’s father’s face.
The wedding ceremony took place under a gorgeous white pergola with lush green climbers. The ceremony site overlooked Lake Texas and it was a spectacular view! Grant stood at the ceremony site and looked dapper in a gray suit and tan shoes. His wedding look was concluded by a green and white tie and a green boutonniere. Did we mention the amazing dominance of green and white in this wedding? The bride and groom said their wedding vows in one of the most beautiful places in the city. The lake and the lush greenery behind added more romance to Rachel and Grant’s wedding photography.
As the two were pronounced man and wife, they were looked on by the maid of honor and the best man. While the maid of honor wore a gray-green gown, the best man wore a gray suit with accessories in shades of green. The wedding ceremony was like a dream! If bliss had a face, that would be it! The lake made for a serene backdrop for their wedding photography, adding an element of whimsy to it.
After the wedding ceremony, our wedding photographers captured photos of the bride and the groom with their parents. They were soon joined by the maid of honor and the best man.
The party moved indoors where the wedding reception took place. We absolutely adored the guest-book idea of Rachel and Grant! The reception hall was decorated beautifully, with white and green being the predominant colors. The tables were laid in the most elegant style. Click here to get more inspiration on the table settings. The exposed beams and glowing chandeliers added rusticity and warmth to the wedding photography. The ambiance was refreshing and soothing, all at once! We totally loved the welcome table, which was decorated keeping in mind the same color scheme. The table that bore childhood photos of the bride and the groom was the highlight of the reception! It was nostalgic for everyone around and absolutely aww-worthy!
The newlyweds took the dance floor as everyone looked on. The romance was in the air as they danced, lost in the moment! We simply loved Rachel’s dance with her father and Grant’s with his mother. We loved how our wedding photographer captured those precious moments for all of them to cherish forever.
As the sun went for slumber, the newly-wed couple snuck outdoors for some dramatic photography. Their romantic portraits standing on the green landscape overlooking the lake are wedding photography goals! The sky was in absolute favor as it added oodles of drama! Our wedding photographers captured super gorgeous night shots of Rachel and Grant under the pergola where the ceremony took place. Stuff like that adds to our pride!
