Hannah and Stephen Enjoy San Jose’s Naturalistic Charm For Their Brilliant Engagement Photo Shoot!
June, 28 2022
Rarely do we find ourselves in the company of love that is mature and understanding, but also child-like in its disposition. Love, for each of us, is different, that is true. But there are some telltale characteristics that we all look for. And to us, it looks like Hannah and Stephen have found their definition of love in each other. The day of the engagement photo shoot in San Jose began like just any other day. We were not prepared for the experience, to say the least. The day was planned, Hannah and Stephen had decided on the photoshoot locations in San Jose, and we knew where to be. But what we witnessed, during the photoshoot, blew us away. The delicate love, filled with their bubbly, fun disposition, with endless curiosity, made us realize what true soulmates look like. Throughout the day, the couple had reserves of energy to burn with us, curious about their surroundings, and with a deep-seated love for nature, our engagement photographer witnessed love as they had never known of, only heard about. The couple wanted to start early. They told us, that San Jose’s beautiful parks look the best in the morning sunlight. Since the first location for the day was a park, blessed with massive trees and immense greenery, we agreed with the couple. After all, the morning glow makes the leaves look greener and fresher.
San Jose, home to Hannah and Stephen, is peppered with multitudes of things to do. One of the most notable things about the city is that it is home to many parks. The city is surrounded by rolling hills and is a hub for technology, finances, and culture. Dotted with buildings showcasing amazing architectural feats, the city is home to photo-worthy locations as well. Hannah and Stephen shared that they love San Jose’s city line, and love to explore the city as the sun dips down. It was easy to see that the couple not only loved their home but also adored everything San Jose had to offer. As we made our way to the park, the first location of the day, Hannah and Stephen talked about their city excursions, and how the two loved to go around the city as though they were tourists visiting San Jose for the first time. The first location for the photo shoot was a park with multiple canopies and spots worthy of picture-perfect photos. The couple shared that they would come to the park on weekends. Being nature lovers, they enjoyed spending their weekends in San Jose in the park and exploring it. They shared that a nature-inspired wedding for them may be on the table, but they were still considering what to include in their wedding.
The first location in San Jose was as picturesque as the couple had described. Brilliant trees towering over us, made for the perfect backdrop for engagement photos. The couple had also expressed that they were looking for a photo to make use of for their wedding save the date card. The two believed that the pretty outdoorsy look of their photoshoot location will work amazingly well for their ideas. The couple explored the park with our photographers, looking for a place that spoke to them, a place that they felt was perfect for the engagement photo session. Recently engaged, the two were bubbling with happiness and excitement for the journey that awaited them. We could see that the two were deeply in love with each other. Holding hands as we walked through, our photographers took some candid photos of the two as they looked for a good spot with us. Our photographers found the perfect spot under the towering trees, the lighting was perfect for the bright couple. The chosen location was near a pond. Sunlight was streaming in through the small spaces in the leaves and branches, making the location look just perfect.
For the first location, the couple had decided to be candidly elegant. The two shared a love for elegant outfits, which is why they chose an elegantly casual outfit for the day. The two made sure that their engagement photoshoot outfits don’t clash. Choosing fresh colors, fitting their outdoor setting, the two had glammed up for the shoot. Stephen chose a simple engagement photoshoot outfit, a white shirt, gray pants, and a brown belt to finish his look. Hannah decided to wear a blush pink dress, a stylish dress at that, and paired it with a delicate pendant necklace and natural make-up. She had a cute hairstyle, half up and half down. Her natural curls added a brilliant detail to her elaborate outfit. She had picked out comfortable flats for the photo session. Making the most of the brilliant backdrop, the two enjoyed posing for us. We helped the couple with some couple pose ideas, and they were quick to try them out. During the photoshoot, Hannah and Stephen improvised some of the poses as well. Marveling at the beautiful spot, Stephen lightly embraced Hannah and planted a loving kiss on her forehead. We took a photo to capture the adorable couple’s delicate moment. To make things fun, the couple teased and joked around. They loved being outdoors and wanted to utilize the moment. Playfully running around each other, we clicked some of their fun times in timeless engagement photos as well. Then the two decided to make use of the brilliant pond. Neither of the two wanted to get their outfits wet, so they decided to click as many photos on land before they stepped into the water. Playfully teasing and embracing each other, whenever they wanted to, the two were enjoying themselves. Once they were satisfied and knew they had done all that they could on the land, Stephen rolled up the hems of his pants before they ventured into the pond.
Laughter and happiness filled our ears the moment they stepped into the pond. “It’s so cold,” their expressions seemed to say the moment they touched the water. As Hannah was laughing, she found it hard to balance herself, she slipped. Stephen, always so cautious, caught his fiance before she hit the water and helped her out. Smiling, she whispered a lovingly thank you, making it an amazing moment for an engagement photo! The two tip-toed through the water, smiling and laughing. They splashed water at each other to enjoy the moment. In the pond, the two decided that they only wanted candid photos, and did not want to strike any more poses. Hannah and Stephen agreed that they wanted us to capture them enjoying themselves and having fun, instead of trying to pose for the camera. Our photographers were more than happy to witness them being in love and being themselves. As the couple whispered and talked to each other, our photographers clicked some brilliant candid photos of the couple. And when the time to go to the other location for the outdoor engagement photo session arrived, the two were excited to put on different outfits and pose for the photos. But before that, Stephen put his arm around his fiance’s waist, talking to her, softly. Hannah squealed with joy. And only moments after, Stephen lifted Hannah in the air, as she giggled, giddy with emotion. Our photographers captured the adorable moment, a moment worthy of any photobook!
Hannah and Stephen took their time with the park. The two were in love with the nature around them. The brilliant poses with the backdrop of leaves and branches, make them stand out. The choice of engagement photoshoot attire the two chose was perfect, it made them stand out. Stephen’s white shirt and Hannah’s muted peach dress were the perfect choices for this San Jose park. What’s more, we loved the way Hannah’s dress floated over the water in the pond, making their photos look dreamy and fairytale-like. For the second location of the day, the two changed into different outfits! Just like their first outfits, the couple chose elegant outfits for their second location as well. Stephen was quick to change into another outfit. This time, he chose a light blue shirt, dark blue pants, and a brown belt. Hannah chose to synchronize her look with a beautiful blue dress, the stark opposite of her last dress. Her blue dress had a similarity to her first outfit, the blue slip dress had speckles of peach all over, playing hide and seek with the brilliant blue fabric. We took a getting-ready photo for the engagement shoot, nothing compared to the bridal getting-ready photos, but we can imagine how beautiful Hannah would look in her getting-ready photos. Hannah looked elated with joy as she fixed her minimal make-up for the photos. To finish her look, Hannah added beige heels. She later said, these heels were her go-to heels and were very comfortable. Stephen, couldn’t stop staring at his beautiful finance. This location, the second engagement photoshoot location in San Jose is where we saw the two be naturally photogenic. They not only complete each other but brought the best out of each other.
After the two were ready, our engagement photographers helped the two find the perfect spots to take some photos. The corinthian-like pillars in the background added a wonderful touch to the photos. The expansive park had a host of locations for the two to get photographed. The stone walls added a similar note to the photos! The bright smiles the couple had for each other were easy to capture. Leaning against the railings in the park, the two posed for our camera. For better flavors in their engagement photos, the two hugged each other, while Stephen planted a loving kiss on Hannah’s forehead. She blushed when Stephen kissed her forehead. We helped the couple take a few more shots of Stephen kissing her on the forehead. Making use of the location’s natural beauty, the two walked down the hallways, hand in hand. We took a few shots of them walking away and walking toward the camera. The two loved the arches of the location, so we had them pose in front of the arches as well. We helped them capture their love and the micro-details of the location in timeless photos. As the sun was slowly going down, the couple stood next to each other, showing off their dazzling engagement rings.
After that, the two found shade in the hallways. For their photos Hannah and Stephen had adorable smiles and delicately passionate kisses to goofy poses, the two did it all! The two found a way to make their engagement photoshoot fun for themselves. Making use of the pillars, they played peek-a-boo with each other and then burst into laughter. Hannah and Stephen did not shy away from trying unconventional poses for the camera! They made finger guns, and stood back to back to pose for the camera! Hugging each other for the camera and then posing back to back for some heartfelt engagement photos. As the day was coming to an end, the two posed for some last photos. As our engagement photographer readied the camera, the two embraced each other and slowly grooved. When the time to part came closer, the couple found a beautiful spot under the tree on a bench. They softly spoke about their upcoming wedding, and the bride-to-be spoke about her ideas for the day, we swiftly clicked some photos when the two were immersed in conversation, forgetting about the world around them. As we took the last of the photos for the day, Stephen and Hannah smiled at us, smiles as bright as the sun. When the day of the engagement photoshoot ended, and we parted ways with the couple, the two couldn’t help but talk about their wedding plans and how they had already been planning the wedding day photo ideas! As the two walked away, we couldn’t help but feel happy for them. The two not only loved each other but loved being around each other. We were truly in the company of love that day.
