Jason & Heather’s Old Historic Washington, D.C. Wedding
June, 2 2017
If you want a good old fashioned love story, look no further. From the intricate details to the classic attire, Jason and Heather’s Washington, D.C., wedding was a historic dream come true!
Jason and Heather’s big day started with a traditional ceremony in a gorgeous church. Their charming exit included walked down cobblestone stairs surrounded by giddy guests blowing bubbles their way. How sweet!
The bridesmaids wore midnight blue dresses, and the men matched in black suits, bow ties and white dress shirts. Heather was a vintage belle bride in a spaghetti-strapped gown with a beaded deep V-back.
Dress attire aside, the wedding details also made quite the impact. Close-up shots of everything from Jason’s oxford shoes, bowtie and cufflinks down to Heather’s jewelry and bridal bouquet make for emotion-induced memories later in albums.
For example, one look back at those gorgeous wedding flower mixes of peonies, white tulips, ranunculus and pansies will have the newlyweds back in memoryland. Take it from us: Be sure your wedding photographer captures these small (but special) details of your wedding day.
Jason and Heather’s reception unfolded at the Lorien Hotel & Spa. They kept decor simple and sleek with accents like white tulip centerpieces, rectangular paper number table holders, navy tablecloth and clear silvercare. The one standout touch? That three tiered wedding cake adorned with textured frosting, blush groses, and greenery!
