John And Sara Get Married In A Minimal But Stunning Wedding In Providence
March, 30 2023
Charming as every wedding is, there was something different about Sarah and John’s wedding. One of the things that we loved about their wedding was that it was everything that we’d imagine a perfect wedding day to look like. The couple’s well-planned wedding details were hard to miss. The day’s look was beautiful and classy. This couple’s wedding happened in spring, one of the best seasons to fall in love, have dates with the love of your life, and start a new life together. Spring is the best time of the year because you can have an indoor wedding or an outdoor one. Besides, the weather during this season is just right for everything! From impressive wedding day decor ideas to colorful blooms, spring truly is the season of love. A wedding during spring is not only a colorful celebration of love but also offers a great backdrop for some amazing wedding photos. Sarah and John’s special day was filled with many smiles, lovely color combinations, perfect wedding outfits, and so much more, our Providence wedding photographer was there to capture all of the memories of the lovely couple. Our photographer met the couple for the day and was excited to help them pose for their photos and take the photos of memories that these two will love to go over in the coming years. For the day, the wedding venue and the wedding ceremony were different. The couple had decided to have a wedding ceremony in the church, and then move to their wedding reception venue. Both of these venues had similar decor ideas, which were refreshing and married to the season’s colors. What we loved the most about their wedding, especially after seeing the amazing wedding photos, is the fact that Sarah and John’s wedding decor was simple and minimal.
Providence today is absolutely different from what the past had in store for it. At a time, Providence was destined to be an industrial relic. Before that could happen, the controversial two-time mayor of the city, Buddy Cianci. The two-time mayor of the city churned out a plan, revitalized the downtown, and restored many historic buildings and spaces, thereby breathing some life into the city. Providence is an easy weekend away from New York, and Boston. The state capital is also home to multitudes of college students, who keep the city’s social and arts scene alive. Providence is a beautiful blend of different aspects of life, it is a city where modern-day architecture is paired with wonderful Gilded Age mansions and stunning views of the ocean. Not only is Providence a great location for outdoor wedding photo sessions, living, and visiting, it is a city where you can find many tourist attractions. You can take a walk down the Cliff Walk, explore the age-old colonial charms left in the country in Pawtuxet Village, marvel at the wonderful sights from Beavertail Lighthouse, or check out other touristy attractions in the city.
The wedding date for Sarah and John’s wedding was March 12, and that day the weather was simply amazing. We loved the fact that the day of the wedding was soft, beautiful, and moderate. Our wedding photographer was early that day and decided to look around the location to ensure they had all the right angles. The couple had decided to get dressed and then make their way to the wedding ceremony venue, which was the Chapel Of St Sharbel. The groom and his groomsmen decided to get dressed separately. The couple also decided not to have a first-look photo session. The couple had decided to go traditional with the wedding, without the first look photos. The groom and the groomsmen were quick to get dressed. Before they put on their trendy wedding suits, the boys had decided to keep their wedding outfits pretty similar. The groom had decided to put on a black two-piece suit, with a white dress shirt and a black tie. The groomsmen's outfits, on the other hand, were slightly different. Instead of the black tie, the groomsmen had a crimson red tie. Following suit, the father of the bride and the father of the groom chose to wear pastel green ties instead of crimson ones! The ties were what set all of these men apart from each other. As the boys were getting ready, our photographer took a few photos of the boys being boys, smiling, and joking around. Then as the moment of the wedding ceremony inched closer, John’s face became serious, you could see that he was excited, a little nervous, and a little “can’t wait.” As the boys were ready, our photographer took some amazing photos of the groom. John posed for a few solo groom photos. Then, the groomsmen joined the groom for a few more photos. Once they were done, the groom and the groomsmen decided to make their way to the wedding ceremony venue.
The bride and the bridesmaids decided to sit down and have a chat first. The bridesmaids and the maid of honor decided to discuss the timeline of the day ahead so that the process was as easy for their friend as it could be. For their getting-ready photos, the girls had decided to wear casual outfits. The girls decided to swap out the satin getting-ready robes for relaxed satin shirts in navy blue with yoga pants! The girls sat down to have a chat, and talk about things. Before the bride decided to get dressed for the day, Sarah decided to have a few photos with the flower girl for her wedding and posed for a few group photos with the bridesmaids. Then, the bride put on her baby blue satin robe so that she could get dressed. The first order of business was to finish off her bridal wedding makeup. As she was getting her make-up done, the bridesmaids decided to get dressed quickly. As the bride was getting her make-up done, and as the bridesmaids were getting ready, our wedding photographer took amazing detailed photos of the wedding dress. Sarah had decided to leave her wedding dress hanging until she had to put it on. And right next to her dress, she had the bridesmaids’ dresses hanging. The bridesmaids’ dresses for the wedding day were satin and deep red, more like maroon. The last piece of addition to Sarah’s wedding look was a beautiful medium-length veil. The room, on the other hand, had the wedding bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets placed in pretty transparent vases. The bouquets were a beautiful blend of peach and yellow flowers with greenery. These bouquets were hand tied. To make the bridal bouquet look different from the bridesmaid bouquets the ribbons used on these bouquets were different. The bride’s bouquet was tied with a beautiful white ribbon, while the bridesmaids' bouquets were tied with red satin ribbons!
Sarah’s wedding dress was a beautiful off-shoulder lace dress, which suited the bride amazingly well. Sarah’s delicate features merged with the delicate floral designs on the wedding dress! Her wedding hairstyle was a cascading hairstyle, which was made complete with a soft ivory hairpin. Her wedding day jewelry also included a neat necklace. She decided to put on glittering shoes, in silver, which matched the neutral wedding theme that Sarah and John had agreed upon. As the time for the wedding ceremony was coming closer, the bridesmaids handed Sarah her wedding bouquet and grabbed their bouquets, and hurried to the ceremony venue. As the bride and the bridesmaids were leaving the wedding venue to reach the wedding ceremony venue, our photographer decided to take a solo photo of the bride walking down the stairs. Sarah had her bridal bouquet in her hands, and with the other hand, she held her dress, which made the dress’ slit look neat, pretty, and absolutely stunning! Smiling, it was easy to see that Sarah could not stop smiling and couldn’t wait to see John.
The wedding ceremony venue was minimally decorated, which made the space look amazing. John had already reached the venue, and the wedding guests had started pouring in and were taking their seats, now all that was left was for the bride to arrive. As the wedding guests found their spots, John stood at the altar, waiting, and the groomsmen had their eyes trained on their friend, Sarah, and her father was on the other side of the room. Before the wedding ceremony could start, the father and daughter duo had an emotional moment, and then Sarah walked down the aisle with her father. As Sarah walked down the aisle towards her soon-to-be-husband, she was full of smiles. As she gracefully walked down the aisle, all the wedding guests looked at the bride in awe. John could not keep his eyes off Sarah, and the smile on his lips never disappeared. As Sarah reached the altar, John helped her up and continued to smile at her. Sarah looked at John, and met his gaze, softly smiling and looking down. And just like that, the wedding ceremony began. The flower girl and the ring bearer were eagerly waiting for the ceremony to unfold, and the bridesmaids and groomsmen were smiling proudly at these two love birds. The couple went through the ceremony and took their wedding vows, and then the two sealed their marriage with a kiss! As the couple kissed, and the priest announced that these two were now husband and wife, the church resonated with claps and congratulations from the wedding guests! And then, the couple turned around and walked down the aisle with John. The two were smiling, happy, and absolutely ecstatic.
Right after the wedding ceremony, the couple decided to pose for some photos. Our wedding photographer helped the couple pose for some amazing family and group photos. Then, the couple and their families decided to go back to the hotel, the wedding reception venue, where they took more photos. When the couple reached the venue, the guests were taking a short break and enjoying themselves, while the couple decided to take some photos before their wedding reception entry. First, Sarah and John decided to take photos with their families. The lovebirds posed with the bride’s family once and then with the groom’s family. The mother of the bride and the groom were both dressed in pastel green dresses, which matched their husbands’ ties. We love coordinated details like these! Then Sarah decided to pose with her best girls! The bridesmaids gathered around Sarah and gave our wedding photographer an amazing smile! Then, the bridesmaids also had a group photo with the flower girl. Then, the groom and groomsmen took some photos to remember the day. When the two were done taking photos with some of their closest friends, the couple decided to pose for some photos to remember their wedding day. Before they posed for a couple of photos, the two posed with the flower girl and the ring bearer as well. The ring bearer was also dressed in a two-piece suit and a black tie, much like the groom.
After that, John and Sarah decided to pose for photos. And these two were natural in front of the camera! They walked around the wedding reception venue, using any and every place for amazing photos. The architecture and the lights of the venue added charming details to the photos. After posing for their romantic couple photos, the couple decided to make their way to the wedding reception. They made a soft wedding reception entry and took the dance floor to have their first dance. The couple smiled and looked deeply into each other’s eyes as they danced and twirled around the dance floor. The wedding guests stood around the dance floor, watching the beautiful couple enjoying their first dance. And when the couple was done with their romantic first dance, they danced with their families. After that, the dance floor was open for the wedding guests to use and enjoy. When the wedding guests joined the couple on the dance floor, our photographer took some detailed photos of the wedding details the couple had carefully picked out. The wedding decor details were soft and minimal. The tablescape was pretty white with white and ombre glassware. To add a pop of color, the cutlery was brighter. For the wedding centerpiece for the tables, the couple had chosen a beautiful lantern. Apart from this, the couple had also decided to choose some tables for other details. For the wedding guests to leave some amazing wishes they decided to take an interesting twist on the wedding guestbook. They had a table, added a few sheets of paper, markers, and a box monogrammed with “H.” standing for their shared last name now, Howard, for the guests. Instead of regular escort cards, the couple decided to add sweet treats! The signage at the table where all the escort cards were said “Please take a treat to find your seat.” That was fun, quirky, and cute. To add accents to the wedding reception, the couple decided to have a collage of their photos placed on a canvas. For the wedding cake, Sarah and John decided to choose a four-tier wedding cake. The wedding cake was completely white and almost gave off a vibe of “shining.” Apart from this, the wedding cake also had some pretty pearl details. Before the wedding dinner was served, Sarah and John decided to have their wedding cake-cutting ceremony. Surrounded by many people, all of whom were close to the couple, Sarah and John got in front of the cake and cut it together. As they cut the cake, the wedding guests cheered for the two and clapped. And just like that, the wedding continued. After the cake-cutting ceremony, the couple sat down, the groomsmen and bridesmaid speeches happened and the couple enjoyed themselves. The wedding guests took over the dance floor and enjoyed the signature cocktails the couple had decided on, and Sarah and John smiled at them. And just like that, their magical day was over. The couple decided to leave the guests to their enjoyment and left the wedding party. Their wedding exit was just like their wedding, soft, full of smiles, and happy cheers! Our wedding photographer watched the two leave the reception venue with dreams and hopes in their eyes.
