Kelsey and Ryan’s Expertly Curated Wedding, Phoenix, AZ

Kelsey and Ryan tied the knot with a unique wedding at the Duce in Phoenix, AZ. The wedding was a great mix of eclectic styling and ethereal details. The industrial feel of the venue paired nicely with the soft colors and lighters fabrics of the bridal party. The contrast of the whimsy with some of the more industrial photo settings made the wedding photography really interesting!
Kelsey’s bridal look featured textural, layered florals. We love the way she played with texture to give her monochrome look a dimensional feel. Her bridal flower crown was made of the same greens as her bouquet, paired with petite white roses. We couldn’t get enough of her lace wedding dress— from the cap sleeves to the low back it was pure perfection.
Details of the day were captured during Kelsey’s getting ready photos with her bridesmaids. This is a great time to capture the details you love that might not show up in other photos. We love the close up of the lace on Kelsey’s dress, her clutch, and her Stuart Weitzman shoes.
Ryan and his groomsmen wore a handsome, fresh alternative to the typical groom’s party attire: brown suits. Ryan wore a full suit while the groomsmen wore brown pants with suspenders and bowties.
The couple came together for some fantastic portraits around the venue. We loved the neutral palette with pops of color that were brought into some photos. Whether it was the muted red of the brick outside, the orange color of the sign or the green of the picnic tables (in front of an Air Stream!), Kelsey, Ryan, and their photographer found the ideal spots for memorable photos.
For the wedding, Kelsey and Ryan transformed the ceremony space with an arch of greens and lantern. The colors brought into the venue brought a playful touch to their photos and gave the event and eclectic feel. The reception space was equally eclectic with marquee lights, string lights, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere. We swooned over their wedding lighting and the character is brought to the reception.
The final touch on this flawless day was cheesecake and individual desserts Kelsey and Ryan served after dinner. These desserts joined a simple three-tiered wedding cake adorned with greens. There was something for everyone!
