Love In Temecula’s Moody Embrace: Aunika And Henry’s Mesmerizing Engagement Session

When you meet the love of your life, your heart feels at home and you feel as though love is in the air. As the day of your wedding keeps coming close, you feel the excitement of the day edging closer, and you feel yourself smiling even more than before. If you ask us, engagement time is one of the best times of your life. From the ideas you’d bounce around for your wedding planning to considering your wedding guest list, from choosing your honeymoon destinations to the pre-wedding shoot, we know there’s so much to do when you’re engaged. And it is during this time that couples also have their engagement photo session, which helps you remember your moments. It is true that we love seeing beautiful couples and their amazing photos, but there’s something special about these engagement photo sessions. We love the spark and we love the bright smiles. A wedding day photo session is beautiful, but we know that there are friends and family, and you share the time with people. However, to us, an engagement photo session is even better, simply because it is something that only two people enjoy. An engagement session for photos gives you the time to be yourself, candid and posed, with your partner and have a short time away from the wedding planning time and other responsibilities. 

Nestled in the heart of Southern California's Riverside County, Temecula is a hidden gem that captivates visitors with its natural beauty, charming vineyards, and rich history. It was here, on one of these beautiful beaches where Aunika and Henry posed for their engagement photos with us. Our engagement photographer met the two on the day of the shoot. The chosen spot was a serene beach in the city. This lovely couple had told our photographer that they loved the city’s beaches and enjoyed calming walks on the shorelines. Before our Temecula engagement photographer started taking photos of the two, he spoke with both of them to understand what they were looking for in their engagement photos. Since these two loved nature and enjoyed the calming waves, they wanted something that captured their beautiful smiles and their love in its essence. Our photographer understood exactly what they wanted and was more than happy to help them with their photo poses. Our engagement photographer helped the two to pose in such a manner that captured their natural beauty and in the way they wanted to be captured. Their photos were impressively shot, and our photographer’s skills along with the natural comfort these two had in front of the camera were easy to see. Before they started posing for their engagement photos, our photographer took a quick look around to get an idea of the space. For the day, the two choose flowy and airy outfits. Their engagement photo outfits were well-coordinated. We love seeing couples in great outfits for photo shoots. And we are also firm believers in having these outfits similar in color and scheme instead of going for the same colors. However, Aunika and Henry found a way to make their whites look amazing! 

For the day, Aunika had a stylish and airy summer dress. This white dress was perfect for the beach day photo shoot. Henry matched her style by choosing an off-white shirt, and olive green pants. For most of their engagement shoot, these two decided to keep their footwear out of the photos! The sandy shore was perfect for a barefoot day! Enjoying the water and the wonderful weather, our couple for the day was more than happy to dip their feet in the water and enjoy the day as it was meant to be. The day, as if it knew how important it was to a pair of lovebirds, was a moody, beautiful day. The sun was nowhere to be seen and reminded us of the moody moors from Wuthering Heights. However, the love we see here, in these photos of the happy couple, is different, beautiful, bubbly, and fulfilling. It was easy for them and our photographer to start off the day. The expansive beach bore witness to these two's love, and happy laughter, which reverberated through the air. Starting off from the soft beach with the backdrop of jagged rocks, the couple posed for some soft photos. When we say soft, we mean they were just being themselves. Looking at them made us think of two people who were just happy to have met each other and lucky to fall in love with each other. Their sense of pride in their partner and the natural charms of a deep, resounding love was hard to miss. 

For the day, Aunika had kept her hairstyle simple and pretty, by letting it down. Henry had swept his hair back. Starting off with the jagged rocks in the backdrop, they posed for some photos. Our photographer did not have to direct the photos then. The frame of the rocks, the water touching the horizon, and the moody sky were just right to capture the bright couple. The first photo from their outdoor photo session was a pretty one, where the two were looking into the camera. The next shot, a completely candid photo, was a pretty one too. Henry, without warning, pulled Aunika to his side, hugging her tightly, and Aunika couldn’t help but smile! This photo captured their genuine happy smiles, and they look perfect next to each other. As these two were looking for more spots with our photographer, they talked about how their wedding planning was coming along. They mentioned that they had started to book some of their wedding vendors. They had also finalized the beautiful wedding venue for their day, the wedding reception and ceremony were decided to happen at Galway Downs by Wedgewood Weddings. As our photographers took in the surroundings, they knew exactly where they wanted to go next. 

Choosing a small greenery patch in the area, our photographer decided to have them go into the water toward the end of the photo session. So, Aunika and Henry walked up the beachy hills to the spot where the grass was green and coming to life. Our photographer framed the photos in such brilliant ways that they took in the scenic beauty of the beach. The greenery in the background, with the rocks scattered all over, and the wonderful day with waves crashing into the rocks, the day looked wondrous. This beautiful couple looked happy. Before walking down to the beach, our photographer also took a candid photo of the two where Henry had his feet in the mossy water and Aunika was smiling brightly next to him. Their playful side came to light as the two walked on the pretty grass! The two then walked back to the beach to take more beachside photos. Looking happy and beautiful, the two held hands and walked down the shoreline. As the water came close to shore, Aunika and Henry giggled and played with the water. Our photographer took photos of the two. The two decided to sit on a stone wall, by the side of the beach. This spot was just perfect. Adding an ethereal look to the photos, our couple stood out. Our Temecula engagement photographer had the couple take a spot where not only did they stand out from their surroundings, but also had the beachside resorts and establishments in the background. What’s more, we absolutely loved the soft waves in the background. Here, these two had uber-romantic photos. The spot gave Aunika and Henry ethereal photos. For the poses, Henry had his arm around Aunika, with a broad, ear-to-ear smile, and Aunika had her arm on his shoulder. 

Our photographer then wanted the couple to walk down the shoreline once more, and take more photos of the two. As the two lovebirds were making their way down to the beach, our photographer took beautiful candid photos. Letting them be themselves, our photographer ensured that they captured Aunika and Henry being in love. And after looking at the photos, we feel that these two probably fell in love with each other a little more by the time our photographer was done taking photos of the two! Our beautiful couple smiled and laughed. Acting as though they were teenagers, they even had a short jog down the shoreline, which gave our photographer amazing shots of the two! The two held hands once more and walked down the shoreline, this time since the side of the beach was different, our photographer captured them with some greenery creeping on the rocks in the background! As the day was coming to a close, our photographer took a photo of the couple before they dipped in the water. Henry snuggled close to Aunika, with his face sticking to her face’s side, and Aunika was looking into the camera, with a bright smile. In these photos, Aunika’s pretty engagement ring was visible. And just like that, the two took off into the water. Watching them go, our photographer took photos of two as they slightly dipped their feet in the oncoming water. Giggling when the water was too cold, and running away, our photographer captured it all. And then, Henry picked up Aunika and took her into the water. It was here that our photographer took one of the most beautiful and romantic photos of the two. One of our favorites of the day was when our photographer captured the backside of Henry, and Aunika’s face was buried in his shoulder as he picked her up. This photo reminded us of those romantic photos that Tumblr posts were made of, at one point. It was easy to see their romance and love. And our photographer felt the same, our photographer felt that their love was so deep and strong, that it seeped out of the photos.
