Mackenzie & Bennett’s Perfect Providence Wedding
October, 19 2017
Mackenzie and Bennet’s Providence wedding was a rapturous affair with unexpected touches. The couple had an intimate, outdoor ceremony at Colt State Park followed by a warm and lively reception. It was a lovely wedding, and their Lily & Lime wedding photography perfectly captured the day.
Mackenzie’s wedding dress was simple and unique. She looked elegant and ethereal in her bohemian dress with a lace bodice, open back, and deep slit up the satin skirt. She let her hair fall into loose curls, which definitely accentuated the bohemian vibe.
Bennett and his groomsmen wore blue suits with champagne colored ties and pocket squares, which matched the ribbon used to tie the women’s bouquets together. The bridesmaids donned dusty rose dresses. The overall look for the bridal party felt airy and chic, keeping everyone looking effortlessly comfortable.
The couple had some serious fun with their wedding photography! In addition to traditional and romantic shots, they snuck in some playful poses with sunglasses.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed to Wharf Tavern, a dockside spot known for that infamous New England seafood. The tavern was a cozy spot where the guests enjoyed delicious fare, great company and stunning views of the bay.
Mackenzie rocked a second dress for the reception, changing into a mini lace dress with a high collar. Changing for the reception can be a great way to get more than one look for your wedding photography, keep comfortable and set the tone for each portion of the day.
After their delicious New England dinner, the couple and their guests dug into a simple yet sweet wedding cake. The one-tier cake was adorned with roses and a darling cake topper. It was a delectable finish to an enchanting day.
