Meghan and Jon’s Cool and Colorful New York Engagement Session
August, 6 2018
New York is not just a concrete jungle, but a jungle of all things urban, lively, and creative, too. Our city-savvy couple took advantage of much that New York had to offer for their sweet and colorful engagement session.
Engagements are about enjoying each others company and staying true to yourself, and our New York couple did just that. Meghan looked adorable in a graphic print skirt paired with an off-the-shoulder top, whereas Jon kept it cool and casual in a collared shirt and khaki pants. Dressed in coordinating colors of red and black, Meghan and Jon ventured out into the city streets for some unique photo backdrops and iconic views.
The two started their session in the Vinegar Hill area. A neighborhood in Brooklyn, it is home to many artists and buzzes with a cheerful, creative energy. As the two posed casually against the street art, the bright colors and interesting patterns of the city murals made the photos pop.
Now, we all know that no New York engagement could be complete without some photographs beside the Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, and New York skyline so, Meghan and Jon then moved on to this great mix of iconic New York imagery. From art to architecture and man-made beauty to natural greenery, everything went together seamlessly and we love the variety of photos in this city-focused session.
Another reason we love city photos is the multitude of photo ops in one central location. Meghan and Jon took advantage of this as they got some lovely shots captured along the rocky shoreline.
This session was a refreshing burst of color with red, yellow, green and blue (Meghan’s nails!) hues coming together in a beautiful city setting. We just couldn’t get enough!
