November, 21 2023
A wedding day is a day of many emotions, a great time to celebrate those who are close to you, and the start of a beautiful journey. Gabriela and Zachary’s wedding celebration was pristine, sweet, and a wholesome celebration of love. Reminding us of the beauty of the city of Miami, these two love stories put a smile on our faces when we saw their wedding photos and warmed our hearts. Before we talk about their love story our wedding photographer captured into brilliant photos, let’s talk about the city. Miami's story is a rich tapestry woven with various influences. Originally inhabited by the Tequesta and Seminole tribes, it later became a Spanish territory in the 16th century. The city's name, "Miami," is a nod to the Mayaimi tribe who once inhabited this region. In the late 19th century, Miami began to flourish as a city, largely thanks to the arrival of the railroad. Miami's historical significance continued during World War II, when it served as a training ground for soldiers, and during the Cold War, as a key location during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Over time, it evolved into a melting pot of cultures, particularly as a gateway for Cuban immigrants. The beauty of Miami is simply undeniable. This city enjoys a tropical climate, blessed with lush palm trees, pristine beaches, and crystal-clear waters hugging its coastline. The historic South Beach district boasts striking Art Deco architecture that contrasts beautifully with the modern skyscrapers punctuating the skyline. The city's natural beauty extends to its numerous parks and gardens, such as Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and Matheson Hammock Park. And just a short drive away, the Everglades National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its unique ecosystem, teeming with wildlife and offering unforgettable airboat tours and nature exploration.
When it comes to places to visit, Miami has an abundance of offerings. South Beach, with its iconic pastel-colored Art Deco buildings and vibrant nightlife, is a must-see. Little Havana immerses you in Cuban culture, where you can savor authentic Cuban cuisine, music, and art. In the Wynwood Arts District, you'll be captivated by graffiti-covered walls and colorful street art. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the early 20th century, while Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) showcases contemporary and modern art in a striking waterfront setting. Frost Science Museum invites exploration of the wonders of science, technology, and the natural world, with interactive exhibits and a planetarium. The Wolfsonian-FIU focuses on design and propaganda, featuring a unique collection of art and objects spanning from the Industrial Revolution to the end of World War II. Jungle Island and the Miami Seaquarium offer encounters with exotic animals, marine life exhibits, and engaging shows. HistoryMiami Museum, on the other hand, provides a fascinating look into Miami's rich history, reflecting its diverse cultural influences. Miami is a city that effortlessly marries its historical roots with the splendor of its natural surroundings. With its diverse neighborhoods, cultural attractions, and breathtaking landscapes, it's a city that promises a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable experience, whether you're a history buff, an art enthusiast, or simply in pursuit of sunny beach days. Miami has something special for every kind of traveler.
Our wedding photographer met the beautiful couple on the day of their wedding. Watching these two together, excited for their day and the celebration these two had planned, our photographer was ready to take timeless photos, capturing the day and its beauty in immortal photos, where smiles were forever bright and hearts, forever full. For the day, the couple had decided to get dressed separately and decided to put a fun twist on the first look photo session. The bride-to-be had decided to have the first look photo session with her father, not with her soon-to-be-husband. Our couple was excited and buzzing with anticipation of the day to follow, and just like that these two went their separate ways, only to meet once in a while at the altar to take their wedding vows. Our wedding photographer took photos of the couple, separately as they got dressed for the day. The boys were quick to get dressed. Zachary and his boys could not wait for the wedding ceremony to start, which is why, we feel, they were dressed faster and waited for the bride to make her entry. Zachary was dressed in a stylish navy blue suit which was paired with a pale yellow tie. To add a “fresh touch” to his outfit, his boutonniere was a fresh bloom of lily with lavender. Before the groom and his groomsmen made their way down to the wedding ceremony spot, our photographer took a photo of the mother of the groom fixing her son’s boutonniere. The two shared a soft moment, our photographer was more than happy to capture those delicate moments.
Our Lily and Lime wedding photographer then made their way to the bride’s dressing room. The girls’ getting-ready session was happy and fun, very light and airy. The room was pristine and minimally decorated. The bride-to-be had a lovely sweatshirt customized with Zachary’s last name. Our photographer took playful and happy photos of the girls! The bridesmaids had decided to get dressed as our photographer took photos of the bride. Then, Gabriela decided to get dressed for her day, our wedding photographer decided to take photos of the bridal dress, the beautiful wedding rings in the pretty green velvet ring boxes, and the wedding stationery. By then, Gabriela had had her bridal makeup done. Her makeup for the day was beautiful and natural. Her bridal hairstyle was swept back and pretty. Our photographer then took photos of Gabriela and her maid of honor. The bridesmaids, like the maid of honor, were dressed in dusty pink dresses for the day. Our bride was ready once she had her wedding veil fixed and she was ready for the day. Just like that, she was ready to have her first look photos taken with her father. So, the father of the bride, still in his casual outfit, was facing the window of the room. And when Gabriela tapped his shoulder, he turned and a wave of emotions passed his face. Composing himself, he hugged his daughter and had a hushed conversation with her, all the while smiling. The photos of these two warmed our hearts. And then, the mother of the bride and the father of the bride decided to get dressed. As they were dressing up, our bride put on her bridal footwear. Soft and pretty, the bridal shoes had a pretty bow at the back. Just like that, everyone was dressed. Before leaving the room, our bride posed for a family photo before making her way to the wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony of Zachary and Gabriela was a beautiful and heartfelt event, set against the backdrop of a stunning venue that exuded a sense of timeless elegance. As wedding guests arrived, they were guided by charming wooden wedding signage that simply read, "Wedding this way," a whimsical detail that added to the day's beauty. The wedding ceremony spot itself was a vision of refined simplicity. With marbled floors and pristine white walls, it exuded an air of sophistication. But what truly stole the show were the bright blue wooden doors that framed the entrance. Against the backdrop of the white surroundings, these doors were a vivid burst of color, providing a striking contrast that symbolized the vibrant love between Zachary and Gabriela. As the guests settled into their seats, their anticipation grew. The wedding altar was elegantly decorated with minimal wedding details, featuring a triangular wooden arbor adorned with lush greenery and delicate white floral decor details. Then, the moment arrived that everyone had been waiting for; the vibrant blue doors swung open, revealing the stunning bride, Gabriela, on the arm of her father. The simplicity of the setting allowed all eyes to be on her as she made her way down the marbled aisle. With the marbled floor beneath their feet, it was as if their love was anchored in the foundation of their shared journey. Their poses were not contrived or forced; instead, they were a genuine reflection of the love that had brought them to this remarkable day. Zachary held Gabriela close, and their smiles spoke volumes about the joy they found in each other's company. The simplicity of the surroundings emphasized the authenticity of their connection. The wedding reception exuded an air of timeless elegance with its classy decor. White tablescapes adorned with high, white floral centerpieces and glistening gold plates and place cards set the scene for an unforgettable celebration. The wedding cake, a towering masterpiece, stood proudly with its four tiers of white and gold, a sweet symbol of the couple's union. Gabriela and Zachary made a grand entrance, their smiles reflecting the joy and love that radiated throughout the room. The first dance was a tender, heartfelt moment, as the newlyweds swayed together, lost in the music and each other's eyes. Then came the wedding cake-cutting ceremony, a fun and lighthearted moment that had everyone cheering as the couple shared their first sweet bites as a married pair. The sweetheart table was a vision of sophistication, with a long, white expanse adorned with lavish white floral decor, creating an intimate oasis amidst the celebration. As Gabriela and Zachary took their seats at the sweetheart table, the room seemed to hush in reverence for the love that filled the air. With the couple at the helm of the room, the wedding celebration continued into the night, with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. The decor, the delightful first dance, and the wedding cake cutting had set the stage for an evening of love and merriment. It was a celebration that would be cherished not only for its elegance but for the sheer joy that Gabriela and Zachary exuded as they marked the beginning of their shared journey as a married couple.
