Romancing the Gardens: Rebecca and Donnie’s Whimsical Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are a wonderful way to announce your love to the world. And an even better way to celebrate and document your love. So, when Rebecca and Donnie decided to have their engagement session, the Longwood Gardens played a perfect host in documenting their love.
Longwood Gardens are located just about an hour away from Philadephia in Chester County. The flawlessly manicured lawns beg for romantic photography! And the two lovebirds did just that - gave the lawns what they wanted! The two posed effortlessly for some awesome engagement photography.
The Longwood Gardens engagement session began with Rebecca and Donnie posing alongside the lush gardens. Rebecca looked totally stunning in a white floral short dress and a white pair of heels. Donnie complemented her look in a pastel pink shirt and tan pants.
Both looked natural and completely smitten by each other as their engagement photographer snapped them against the gorgeous greens. We loved how this Philadelphia bride’s daughter joined them for their engagement photography. She looked adorable in a blue floral dress. The love between the trio is clearly visible in the family portraits.
It’s always great to see a family being involved in moments of love and happiness! And when it’s children, the joy just doubles instantly!
The duo took another look as they changed into elegant attire. The vibes suddenly transformed into whimsical and dreamy. While Rebecca was a sheer treat for the eyes in a deep red gown, Donnie looked equally dapper in a navy blue suit. The vibrancy of this setting got a new high with blooming flowers being the perfect background.
The engagement session of this Philadelphia couple led them and our engagement photographer to explore the beauty of the property. We loved how the greens that adorned the walls made for a gorgeous background. The contrasting colors added a new dimension to the photos.
Given the magnificent architecture of the Longwood Gardens, photos from all the angles were bound to look stunning. The fountains here, added to the whimsy, giving the photos an ethereal feel! We feel at times water can do the most magical of things! The couple looked every bit in love as the backgrounds gave their romance a perfect finish!
