Things to think about when planning your wedding photos...
Clutter
Do: Less is More
Don’t: Too much going on
This is particularly true during wedding prep photos. Make sure your space is clear of extra clothes, shoes, bags, and food on the floor and tables. Don’t forget to throw away those starbucks cups and any other things that might have piled up during the morning! Your photos will thank you.
Where to hang your dress
Do: Try unique locations
Don’t: Forget a nice hanger!
One of the biggest mistakes is not preparing your dress properly for it’s shining moment. Your wedding photographer will want to capture a nice image of you with your dress before putting it on. Think outside of the box when it comes to where to place it. Take advantage of any long mirrors and find a way to display the dress in out of the ordinary locations. Don’t forget to bring a nice hanger!
Props
Do: Keep it simple.
Don’t: Go overboard!
Unique props can definitely enhance the photo, but don’t let those props* become the focus! Keep it simple. Don’t get weighed down with using too many props in your wedding photos! Find one or two small items that are special to you and let your personality do the rest. You got this.
