We’re all made of Stars: The Idyllic Orlando Wedding of Sloane and Kel
June, 1 2022
Sloane and Kel tied the knot on October 23rd, 2021, surrounded by the affection and cheerful chatter of their loved ones in Orlando. The special day, the wedding day was something that fairytale love stories are made of. The beautiful October day was perfect for these two to tie the knot. The weather was perfect, the sun was bright and was shining down, sans the summer heat! The soft sunlight was paired with a light breeze and some clouds, which gave the day a picturesque dreamy setting, perfect for the planned wedding photos. The wonderful wedding venue, The Acre Orlando, served as the perfect background for the lovely couple. The wedding details were carefully handpicked by the couple. The chosen theme was a blended mixture of celestial and nature-loving wedding themes, which fit the couple perfectly well. The couple chose to celebrate their love in pretty tropical-inspired wedding outfit styles blended with deep blue. The delicate beauty of the venue, paired with the love the couple shared, made this outdoor Orlando wedding perfect, and extremely heartwarming. The wedding day details were peppered with bold colors with harmonizing muted shades steeped in natural greenery and star-studded wedding decor. With bold signage that said, “We’re all made of stars,” the couple found a way to add a dreamy touch to their wedding with minimal wedding ideas!
The venue for the day was the beautiful wedding venue, The Acre Orlando. Located in the historic College Park neighborhood, The Acre Orlando is one of the best-kept secrets when it comes to venues in Florida. The beautiful outdoor space of the venue encompasses brilliant cottages, and open spaces and is steeped in greenery. The beautiful location has a whimsical and rustic vibe to it, which is perfect for cottage core wedding lovers, or couples who want to tie the knot surrounded by greenery and under an open sky! What’s more is that the venue is located close to the well-kept historic College Park neighborhood, which is picturesque in itself with its beautiful houses. Apart from that, the venue is close to Florida’s crystalline springs, Disney World, Universal Studios, Florida’s Space Coast, and the East coast beaches of Daytona, among other areas. The venue is a mix of rustic barns and establishments, with a trailer, fireplace, vine wall, and mirror patio for you to enjoy and use, which makes it perfect for different wedding day events and other gatherings as well.
When the wedding day arrived, the venue was dressed in the theme colors that the couple had chosen. Months of wedding planning had gone into creating the perfect vibe for the two to tie the knot in. The couple wanted to create a wedding set-up that they not only loved but also associated with, hence the greenery-laden wedding venue was dressed in pretty blue and white, mimicking the delicate colors of a night sky peppered with stars. A crescent moon wedding decor prop was added to the outdoor altar, where the couple tied the knot. As the wedding ceremony approached, the couple decided to get dressed for the day ahead of them, separately. The excitement for the upcoming wedding events was easy to see when Sloane and Kel were getting ready. Their getting ready photos show the excitement the couple felt clearly. Before getting dressed for the day, Kel was dressed in an orange Hawaiian shirt with tropical details and shorts. Before getting dressed, he looked over the list of the events for the day the couple had planned and smiled thinking back on their memories of planning the wedding. His smile seemed to say, “The day is finally here.” He had picked out a dazzling blue wedding suit, matching the celestial theme of their wedding. Dressing up in a deep blue wedding tuxedo, he completed his wedding look with a white flower boutonniere and a white pocket square. The groomsmen were dressed in a similar shade as well, matching the groom. The groom and groomsmen even had similar shoes to match each other’s style!
As for the bride and bridesmaids, emotions and excitement were running high for all of them. Before the bride and her bridesmaids began dressing up, our photographers took the opportunity to click some wedding detail photos. The dressing room was minimally decorated, much like the venue. The venue’s natural vibe was enough to add a charm to the couple’s wedding decor. As the bride entered the dressing room, she was greeted with a neat room with her muted silver heels placed next to her bridal bouquet and her bridal dress was delicately hanging on a hanger, waiting to be worn. The bride chose a beautiful sheath wedding dress in a muted peach shade, matching the lively outdoor setting of the wedding venue. The dress was incredibly detailed with beautiful tiny flowers. The floral wedding dress had a flared skirt, giving the dress a dreamy look. The bridesmaid dresses were slate gray, which went well with the chosen starry theme for the wedding. Considering the wedding theme, it is easy to see that the pretty peach dress made Sloane stand out, as the sun stands out in the sky, it is hard to believe that this detail was coincidental. When you see how much Kel adores his soulmate, it is easy to see that she is the sun in his life. Sloane completed her wedding day look with natural make-up and a delicate gold necklace. She truly looked wonderful. The last addition to her wedding look was the bouquet which was a beautifully tied bouquet of lovely bright flowers in the shades of peach, lavender, and blush pink. The bridesmaids carried a similar bouquet, sans the colored flowers. The bridesmaid's bouquets were hand-tied with large white flowers and cascading greenery. The bouquet fillers made the bridal bouquet look right at home in the rustic setting of the wedding venue. After she was done adding the last details to her wedding day look, she decided to get some photos with her mother and father. Her father was dressed in the colors the groom had dressed in, showing impeccable planning and coordination of the outfits for the wedding on the part of the couple. The mother of the bride was dressed in a dazzling white gown as well, which was simple and elegant. Another detail that we took note of was that the mother of the groom was also dressed in an elegant white dress. And both of these dresses were detailed with silver sequins, making both the mothers’ wedding day outfits coordinated!
With Sloane and Kel ready for the wedding day, and the wedding ceremony inching closer, the two couldn’t wait to tie the knot. The wedding ceremony, the couple had decided, would be outdoors under the bright blue sky. The altar was set with the wonderful crescent moon and muted lights to build on the rustic setting of the wedding ceremony venue. The wedding ceremony venue was designed especially for the couple. The stage was set with large walls. On the inside, the space served as an altar for the two to tie the knot in, and on the other side, the space was covered with woven greenery. The side, laden with greenery, served as a brilliant make-shift photobooth for the couple and other guests for wedding photos. The space also had slim, rustic windows, as well, which served as a beautiful backdrop! The groom walked down the aisle, arm in arm with his mother, and took his spot at the altar, waiting for his soulmate to walk down the aisle. The bride walked down the aisle, right after Kel had taken his spot at the altar. When Sloane stood next to Kel, he couldn’t stop staring at her. His breath stopped for a moment as he took the moment in and created a memory he’d cherish forever in his mind. Smiling, the two went through their wedding ceremony, and over their tear-jerking wedding vows, which brought all the guests to tears. The two sealed their vows with a passionate kiss. All the wedding guests clapped and yelled congratulations. Walking down the aisle, the two smiled and waved at their guests, happy moments were at an all-time high among everyone present at the ceremony! They were finally Mr. and Mrs. Robichaux.
Before the day could mature into a reception party, the couple decided to strike some adorable poses for our wedding photographers! Happy and giddy with all the excitement, it was easy to see the natural smiles play on their faces. Our photographers enjoyed shooting the wedding ceremony and the wedding portraits afterward as well. The first-ever photo of the recently married couple that we took was of the couple embracing each other, and Kel planting a loving kiss on his wife’s shoulder. The moment was so true to the love Sloane and Kel shared, that we couldn’t help but take a candid wedding portrait of the two. Taken aback for a moment, Sloane looked at Kel, with respect and love in her eyes for Kel, time seemed to stop for a moment, and then the two burst out laughing. The two took advantage of the rustic beauty of the venue and posed in front of the wonderful greenery-laden walls of the wedding ceremony space, the two had fun with poses. The two tried to make use of all the details that they could. Then the two gathered all of their friends and family together for a planned wedding group photo session!
As the mesmerizing outdoor wedding ceremony came to an end, the bride and groom posed for some wedding photos, and the guests dispersed for the cocktail hour. Sloane and Kel loved minimal decor ideas, which is why their wedding had a similar vibe. The wedding decor details were minimal and were mostly nature-inspired. For the cocktail hour, the couple had chosen to greet their guests with beautiful signage, a baby blue signage with delicate, cursive letters, greeted all the wedding guests, which said, “Darling we’re all made of stars.” The illustrations on the signage matched the message perfectly as well. Furthermore, as the guests entered the venue, the guests were greeted with a water dispenser, a pretty one at that! The water dispenser was placed at the entrance to the cocktail hour venue, which had illustrations of fresh orange slices on it. To finish the decor of the entrance, the couple had specifically chosen a wonderful white flower-laden centerpiece complete with sprigs and bouquet fillers! As the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, the adorable couple posed for some more wedding portraits! The two were energetic and full of different ideas for their wedding photoshoot! After clicking some photos with the groomsmen and bridesmaids, the two went back to their outdoor wedding ceremony location to get a photo clicked under the crescent moon decor! To make their photos perfect, the two kissed under the crescent moon, to create a timeless memory of the moment. Making use of the rustic beauty of a venue, the couple found different spots to click some amazing wedding photos! Through the woven grass walls and windows, to the rustic backdrop of an old door at the venue, The Acre Orlando offered an amazing look for the couple! Before their first dance at the reception party, the two quietly shuffled and slow danced when nobody was around, simply enjoying each other’s company! The idyllic ambiance of the venue added to the beauty of the venue and location, which made Sloane and Kel’s wedding photos dreamy. Trying out different poses, the two doted on each other and were full of brilliant smiles.
After an elaborate couple wedding photo session, we found a chance to click some groom portraits. Kel was happy to try different poses. However, the truth was Kel was so happy on his wedding day that regardless of the pose, Kel looked amazing in every photo. After Kel’s wedding portraits, we found Sloane and her bridesmaids. The bride posed for some solo portraits as well, showing her beautiful bridal gown for a silhouette photo for our photographers! After that, the bride posed with her bridesmaids for some more wedding photos! Smiling and laughing, the bride and bridesmaids then returned to their indoor wedding reception party once the photoshoot was over. Sloane and Kel walked in, hand in hand, smiling and cheering “We’re married!” as they entered. Happy smiles and giggles filled the room. The couple took the dance floor for the first time as a married couple and had a blast. It was easy to see that Sloane and Kel were being themselves, they weren’t stressed out about the guests watching them. With no jitters, they were being unapologetically themselves. To end their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Robichaux, the couple danced with their families before opening the floor to their guests to dance and have a good time. As the guests danced, our photographers took some wedding detail photos. The reception party decor was as idyllic as the other wedding decor details. Minimal and delicate, the decor ideas went well with the couple’s theme and the venue’s interiors. The graceful wooden interiors served as the perfect backdrop for the wedding details Sloane and Kel picked out. The wedding seating chart was a simple one. The couple chose a deep blue signage board with the names of their guests for the seating arrangement. For the tablescape, the two chose the colors of a night sky, blue, white, deep blue, and lilac. The tables were complete with minimal decor, and flower centerpieces! To add accents to their star-themed wedding, the couple had chosen tiny star-like pieces for their decor. Other than that, to enjoy and utilize the graceful woodwork of the venue, the couple chose gold frames and birdcages to add accents to their decor ideas. To finish it off, the wedding cake was snow-white with lilac roses and greenery. The wedding cake looked at home with the venue’s decor! After feasting and enjoying the company of their guests, Sloane and Kel decided to have their cake cutting ceremony to end the day. As the day came to a close, the couple shared their joys and hopes. When the party came to a close, the guests came together to send off the newly married couple with loads of congratulations.
