Yasmin and Oscar’s Enviable Wedding, Los Angeles, CA
July, 20 2018

Yasmin and Oscar tied the knot in a charming ceremony outside Los Angeles. The couple hosted their picturesque wedding at Ponte Vineyard Inn in Temecula, CA.
When you’re planning a wedding with an outdoor element, the weather is always a question. With clear skies and plenty of sun on their wedding day, Yasmin and Oscar were able to rest assured that everything would go off the way they dreamed. You can see the joy and ease in their faces in the getting ready photos, and we absolutely love the intimate feeling of Yasmin’s bridal prep photos. The small group and private moments getting hair and makeup done allowed Yasmin to have a tranquil morning, surrounded by her closest friends and family.
Oscar, meanwhile, had a pre-celebration with two of his groomsmen. We love how the groomsmen and groom often get the fun started early in the day, and it really shows in photos. The groomsmen toasts can be such an excellent photo opportunity, too!
For her bridal look, Yasmin chose a sheath dress with an illusion neckline. This simple and romantic gown was stunning for the day. We absolutely loved the shade of green the bridesmaids wore. It matched perfectly with the flower crown on the littlest lady, and it highlighted the greenery of Yasmin’s bouquet while letting the colors stand out. Green is always an outstanding color choice for an outdoor wedding because of the way it accentuates natural scenery.
Speaking of Yasmin’s bridal bouquet, it is what dreams are made of! The shape, color, and variety of flowers were so gorgeous. It was the epitome of Pinterest goals while still being small enough to comfortably carry.
Yasmin and Oscar’s wedding venue was full of amazing Spanish details and an unrivaled view for the ceremony. Who doesn’t love a mountain view? And we especially love that on top of its beauty, it adds a little symbolism for “a love that can move mountains” to the wedding ceremony. The couple framed the view with an impressive ceremony arch that was adorned with more flowers and greenery.
For their wedding portraits, Yasmin and Oscar traveled around the property. We love the pics they got. It looks reminiscent of a destination wedding! We always love to see when couples can get a little sampling of different looks and vibes in their wedding photos. All the feeling of a destination wedding without people having to travel? That’s what we call having your cake and eating it, too.
The couple kept the intimate and romantic feeling going into the reception space. String lights were hung to give the wedding a hazy glow. The space was decorated with wine barrels and swaths of fabric, which combined to give it an airy, rustic romanticism. At the end of the day, their cake stole the show. Caramel drips, sensational flowers, and grapes adorned the petite cutting cake, proving that you don’t need a huge cake to make a splash.
